GDC 2024在即 育碧讲座涵盖机器学习和Snowdrop引擎等话题

资深专家分享音效、图像和VR领域的新知和进步

2024年3月6日 – 全球游戏开发者大会(GDC2024)将于3月18至22日在旧金山莫斯康展览中心举办,育碧于日前公布了其参会详情。

20多名育碧专家将齐聚GDC现场,分享在游戏开发方面的最新突破,话题涵盖用于制作《阿凡达:潘多拉边境》的育碧自有引擎Snowdrop,以及旨在提升开发者和玩家体验的新兴机器学习技术。

与会者将有机会一窥《阿凡达:潘多拉边境》幕后音效和渲染效果的最新成果,育碧讲座将介绍游戏的音效设计创新、Snowdrop引擎所支持的光线追踪管线和高级图像技术。

在机器学习和AI领域,育碧也将带来多场讲座,分享旨在利用压缩素材来降低记忆存储要求的创新实时渲染技术,以及具备学习能力、能够模拟真人玩家的机器人,等等。拟真机器人讲座将展现机器学习和AI在改善玩家体验方面的潜力,尤其是多人游戏招募新玩家和开放世界做品控的场景。

此外,育碧专家们的话题还涉猎用户体验、叙事和策划。多款育碧游戏的幕后创作历程将公之于众,包括《彩虹六号:围攻》、《刺客信条:幻景》、《刺客信条:联结核心》VR游戏,以及《波斯王子:失落的王冠》。
